This lacy choker features a real, ethically sourced Red Fox vertebrae, entombed within layers of copper through a process of electroforming.
Foxes are cunning creatures who hold symbolic significance in many cultures. According to Celtic folklore, the Fox is a messenger to the Otherworld, a clever shapeshifter, a guide between realms. Folklore also tells of wise women who were said to transform themselves into foxes, connecting foxes to witchcraft and the wild feminine.
All electroformed surfaces are coated with a clear sealant to prevent tarnishing and oxidisation.
