This lacy statement choker features a real, ethically sourced Red Fox vertebrae, entombed within layers of copper and nickel through a process of electroforming.
Foxes are cunning creatures who hold symbolic significance in many cultures. According to Celtic folklore, the Fox is a messenger to the Otherworld, a cunning shapeshifter, a guide between realms. Folklore also tells of wise women who were said to transform themselves into foxes, connecting foxes to witchcraft and the wild feminine.
All electroformed surfaces are coated with a clear sealant to prevent tarnishing and oxidisation.
Measurements:
Pendant: 7cm length (including Quartz crystal drop) x 5cm width at widest point
Choker: Embroidered velvet cord with chain at the back for adjustability and a lobster claw clasp. 33cm at shortest and 40cm at longest length.
