This amulet features a real Hare skull, entombed within layers of copper and nickel through a process of electroforming, embellished with Quartz crystal points and a Rainbow Moonstone.
The Hare was a sacred and mystical animal to the Celts, a symbol of abundance, prosperity and good fortune. According to Celtic folklore, the Hare was believed to have connections to the Otherworld. In myth, the Hare was linked to Celtic goddesses of fertility, both of spring and of the harvest.
The bones used to create this amulet were scavenged ethically and were found in the alpine regions of Te Waipounamu, New Zealand.
